We almost made it through 1 art show without this happening. HA! But, of course, at 4:45 PM some woman had to spoil the whole thing by telling us this very line. We've not had one art show in the midwest yet where this has not happened, or something similar like, "I was the granddaughter of Geronimo in another lifetime". Seriously people? The whole Princess thing is a EURO label. Native Americans have no such word in any of their vocabularies. We have, of course, what we consider royalty(english word) in our families but rest assured, there are no princesses. SO think twice before you say this to a Native American. AHO!
